INTERNET_TOPOGRAPHY - 2011
WATCH PICTURES

In Internet_Topography, silent audio signals are sent from the exhibition space to Tokyo, then returned within the installation space where we can listen to it. The transmission errors that occur during these streamings are analyzed and then considered as a potential and incomplete layout of the network topography. Similar to a landscape, this digital topography proves to be an unstable organization of patterns, shapes and outlines opening the way to multiple mental representations. This imaginary scope is made perceptible trough an immersive sound and light installation.

INTERNET_ENCEPHALOGRAPHY - 2011
WATCH PICTURES

In the installation Internet Encephalography, 3 audio streams originally silent are emitted from different cities around the world. The interferences and parasites obtained in the reception of each of these flux are analyzed under the shape of 3 diagrams displayed on screens. They draw a fragment of what could be the global encephalography of the Net. Not online for the moment.

INTERNET_EROSION - 2011

Internet_Erosion is a sculpture produced from 24 hours audio analysis of the Infinite Stream Loop's recordings. That recordings have been performed 1 year after this stream loop started. It has been translated into reliefs using spectral analysis technics. This object embodies the Infinite Stream Loop's sonic structure mutations throughout one day.

8 SILENCES, LIVE PERFORMANCE 2010

8 silences offers a sensible representation of Internet by broadcasting audio streams that travel and reverberate trough the web. Initially silents, the streams progressively incorporate an infinity of transformations or "errors" that modify the sound as it circulates on the network. These alterations are comparable to a form of erosion caused by the network space - they are a key to allow different mental representations of this digital topography. Presented as a live performance, 8 silences is a sound immersion in the heart of data flows.

LAPS V1@ RIAM, MARSEILLE 2007

LAPS is an audio and visual installation that uses Internet as an imaginary space where sound echoes, reverberates throughout the Web. Based on transmission errors, the sound material is shaped by the virtual acoustic space of the network. Sound streams broadcasted within the installation structure gradually echoes the activity of the Web in various locations of the globe. Its analysis in these various points is used to progressively draw the contours of an imaginary landscape inside the installation.
